Additive & Reductive Design

Experimenting with alternative methods of making stencils (as opposed to using photo emulsion). Done with several layers of stencils made from drawing fluid (additive), masking fluid (reductive), and some hand-cut shapes out of paper. The process was also really fun and freeing to play with color, both with hue and transparency, creating a very organic manner of layering everything and building movement and depth. Printing with white was also something particularly new and cool for me to do.
